Formerly known as, “the cabinet,” the executive committee is composed of the connectional and appointed officers of VCYC, also including the Chairperson of Youth Ministry and the Secretary of Christian Education. These officers are as follows: President, Executive Vice President, Seven Regional Vice Presidents, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary,Treasurer, Chaplain, Parliamentarian and Director of Public Relations, Chief of Staff, plus six Members-at-Large.

The Executive Committee of the VCYC shall plan and recommend to the Christian Education Department Board, the youth participation for the Winter Meetings and the General Convention. It shall also care for such other business that comes before it.
The Executive Committee of the VCYC shall have the power to plan, organize and present to the VCYC those items of business pertinent to the operations of the organization. They shall appoint leadership and membership to committees, at the recommendation of the President, necessary for the implementation of a given program in the interim of VCYC meetings.
